Brother.
Violent cartoons.

Dear director:

I am writing to you because of the cartoons that you tune up in your local TV station, that are very violent for my brother.

He change his atitude, he jump, hi is very agressive, he went almost to five ditations because of his violence, he change a lot; also his teachers called ten times to my mom because of his atitude.

You can not tune up your cartoons, at the time that you are tuning it, because they change boy´s atitude and also at the time that you tune it up is very early.

I recommend you to tune up your cartoons later, because I think, and many other people, that your cartoons are very violent for childs.

I am sure that if you don´t change the time that this cartoons are tuning, you will lost your channel show, because many moms will prevent their sons not to see it, because of the violence.

I hope you to change the time of your cartoons, if you want to continue having it, if you continue with this time you will have to stop tuning it.

¨I love my new tattoo, it certainly highlights my muscular complexion¨.



In the past the indigenous people tattooed their bodies because of their culture.
Tattoos are for ever.
Tattoos make people look very touph and in the case of woman more masculine.
Also in class I learned the positive connotation, for example they do have a meaning-they represent something(culture); and the negative connotation, for example tattoos are for criminals, bikers, skinheads, drug addict.

¨A recent poll conducted by recruitment marketing specialists Employment Office revealed that almost 60% of employees think it’s unacceptable for tattoos by be visible while at work.  The study also revealed that 64% of people believe that tattoos should be covered up for a job interview¨.

I don´t like very much tattoos because in case of woman make them more masculine and in the case of man make them more touph, in another point of view tattoo cover the ¨beautiful¨ body that God gave us, so I think that tattoos are bad.
Also I think that, if you want to make a tattoo on your body, you have to think it twice because tattoos are for ever.For some people tattoos are also a personal expression, some people say ¨tell me what you will tattoo and I will tell you who you are¨. For that comment I disagree, not because of what you tattooed you will represent who you are.

Tattoos in Art or fashion

       I think that some people have tattoos because of fashion and other people have tattoos because they think that tattoos is like having a piece of art in their bodies, but I disagree with the second idea, but I am agree with the first one.

       First, many young people use tattoos because to have a memory of someone that they loved before, for example, but when they stop loving that person, they regret of doing that tattoo because they can not erase that "piece of art".

       Second, they do their tattoos because of having a "piece of art "in their bodies, but some people opinion is that you can not cover the body that God gave to you, because is disrespectful.

       Third, in the case of woman, the tattoos make her more masculine because tattoos makes people look very tough, because the majority of tattoos are things that means death or skulls, etc, things like that.

       With this arguments you can conclude that tattoos are bad for your social status and your future and also you can conclude that tattoos are fashion in many cases.

                                    The Depression

1- What are the characteristics of this illness or upheaval?

A depressed person feels like his useless, sad, with intention to die. He is not very comfortable with his self. He always is thinking that the things that he do are bad or not correct at all. He also have Insomnia that is an illness, its effect is not sleeping. The family of the person will notice the illness. This is illnes affects all the people around you because, you will very hungry and frustraded and with that your friends will leave you. Some syntoms of this upheaval are: Irritability, restlessness, fatigue, decreased energy. If you have this syntoms you have to talk with your doctor or psychologist about your depress and he will recommend you some activities or medicaments to help you but not to cure you because this illness will stay on you all your life. So to combat this illnes you need the help of all the people that in your social circle.

2- Why does it occur?

All depression is given by the psychological hole that we create with our sentimental problems, economics, of loneliness, etc. And if we fell that psychological holes, the depression disappears.

The problems are in the people that is around, your contacts, your family, because you be always mad or with a lot of work in the office and you can't speak or spend time with your friends or with your kids. You ill transform in a person that be always running and working and that will give the depression, stress and more. Sometimes you will think that your life is ending but is only starting and to get better you have to go to the doctor or psychologist to know more about your problem and how to get better that this the first step and the most important to have a better style of life. There is a lot of activities or exercises to fight the depression.

3- What are the most common symptoms?

• Difficulty concentrating, remembering details, and making decisions
• Fatigue and decreased energy
• Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, and/or helplessness
• Feelings of hopelessness and/or pessimism
• Insomnia, early-morning wakefulness, or excessive sleeping
• Irritability, restlessness

4- What types of treatment or therapy can a patient use? How long do they take? What are their pros and cons?

The most common treatment for depression includes the combination of antidepressant medicine and psychotherapy.

Psychotherapy : is sometimes called "talking therapy." It is used to treat mild and moderate forms of depression. A licensed mental health professional helps people with depression focus on behaviors, emotions, and ideas that contribute to depression. They also help the depressed person identify and understand life problems that contribute to their illness in order to enable them to regain a sense of control. Psychotherapy can be done on an individual or group basis and can include family members and spouses. It is most often the first line of treatment for depression.

There are some pills that contains substances that says that can help you restoring the chemical balance in the brain.This pills are called antidepressants.

Depends on how strong is your depression, and also in what says the doctor.

The pros is that your depression will disappears with this antidepressant pill.

The cons are:dry mouth, constipation, difficulty for urinate, sexual problems, blurred vision, dizziness and sleepiness.

5- What are the real possibilities of recovery if using this type of medicine?

In some cases you will be cure in some things like the Insomnia. But you will not cure at all because the anti-depressives have secondary effects that in some facts will be more risked because you will have more illness that before.

To get better in this upheavel you have to use Alternative medicine because is more effecient in this type of illness like a massage or some relax tea.

6- What type of remedies can a patient take?

Antidepressants.This pills helps in restoring the chemical balance in the brain, so the doctors says that if you take this pills your depression will disappears, but also ,this pills like any other, have cons and pros.

This are the warning signs of depression:

• Irritability

• Fatigue

• Inability to focus

• Pessimism.

• Others

They are a lot of antidepresives and they have diffents effect but you have to know more about of the secondary effects that are more that the illness problems but is risk that you have to take for the happiness vfrom you and your family. Buy the antidepresives that have less secundary effects to get a healthy life.

8-Do health programs in Chile cover this tratment expenses?How about health programs of USA, UK, Nex Zeland, Australia or any European country?I don´t think so, because it is not consumed very much in Chile.
It is different in USA because in this country the methamphetamine is more consumed that in Chile.In case of USA, this disease can be controlled, because of the great technology that have that country.USA is in campaign for stop this consumerism but it is just impossible to stop it, because of the high percentage of consumers.
In USA are also psychotherapy that lasts one year maximum.Most people see their therapist once a week for 50 minutes. For medication-only appointments, sessions will be with a psychiatric nurse or psychiatrist and tend to last only 15 to 20 minutes. Psychotherapy is often about challenging one’s existing set of beliefs and often, one’s very self. It is most successful when a person is able and willing to try to do this in a safe and supportive environment.

In the beginning of this pages Marlow listened very carefully to two man that were in the place were Marlow sleep.They were talking about Mr. Kurtz, the work that he do and also about his station in the.One of two men was talking about the escape of this man and the people that works with him because a shortage in the station.
Later Marlow listen to two man that were talking about a work with minions, and the old man talked mainly about his experience in the station and also said that finally served him well for life.

Marlow was in a tramp  with an armed escort of lank zanzibaris, very hospitable and festive-not to say drunk.
Marlow went to a interview for a work in a very important station and the manager was very curious.
This curious man did not ask Marlow to sit down after his twenty-mile walk  that morning.
This curious manager said to Marlow:¨every agent, in the station, he was heard to say, men who come out here should have no entrails.

Marlow meets with a miracle man.
Marlow learned that this man was the company´s chief accountant and that all the bookkeeping was done at this station.
Everything in this station was in a muddle.
Marlow saw that in this station some ´´black´´ people, enter to the centre of the jungle, a stream of manufactured products and then return with a precious trickle of ivory.
Marlow slept in that station for about 10 days.
Then he meets with Mr. Kurtz, some people says that he was a first-class-agent.
But Mr. Kurtz was at present in charge of a trading post. a very important one.
A man died.This man said to Marlow if he can say to Mr. Kurtz that everything there were very satisfactory.
In the next day Marlow left the station with sixty men for a two hundred-mile tramp

Marlow went to a small station where he meets with a miracle man who was the company´s chief accountant. All the bookkeeping was done at this station.

The next day he meets with Mr. Kurtz, or Hang Sang. He realizes that this man had a manufactured products stream. This goes to the centre of the jungle and then this people goes out with some precious ivory.

I think that the ivory is very beautiful bat the way of extracting it is in a very bad way. I think that later it haves to change this way extracting the marfil from the corn of the elephant because it is very sad the way of extracting the marfil because you have to kill the elephants and that is not good.

Marlow realized that Mr. Kurtz was ill because the rumors and the things that some ’black’ people says to him and also because the things that he saw in the station.

Not only those persons talked about Mr. Kurtz also his manager and very close people.

For Marlow to have more clear the things he asked to the brick-maker of the station he answered: ´´The chief of the Inner Station ,today he is the chief of the best station, then he will be assistant manager, two years ,more …´´ 
The Imperialism can be seen in the stream of manufactured products because this work, of carrying things, is done by the ´´black´´people.
